DigitalBridge Expands Leadership Team with Appointments of Brent Mayo and Nicholas Beatty
New hires strengthen the firm’s data center investment capabilities and expand its focus on energy transition infrastructure

(NYSE: DBRG) (“DigitalBridge” or the “Company”), a leading global alternative asset manager dedicated to investing in digital infrastructure, today announced the appointments of Brent Mayo as Managing Director, Investment Management focused on Data Centers, and Nicholas Beatty as Operating Partner focused on electrification and energy transition.
The two appointments reflect DigitalBridge’s accelerating focus on the convergence of digital infrastructure and energy transition solutions—two of the most consequential secular trends shaping the next generation of global infrastructure investment. Mr. Mayo will deepen the firm’s capabilities across data center investments and capital markets, while Mr. Beatty will support the firm’s electrification initiatives within the broader energy transition, with an emphasis on transport infrastructure.

Brent Mayo joins DigitalBridge as Managing Director, Investment Management, Data Centers. He will focus on originating, evaluating, and managing data center investment opportunities globally, helping deepen our capabilities as demand for AI-driven compute, hyperscale capacity, and digital infrastructure continues to accelerate.
Prior to joining DigitalBridge, Mr. Mayo served as Head of Data Centers at Newmark, where he led the firm’s data center capital markets practice. In that role, he advised clients on equity capital formation, debt financings, asset sales, powered land transactions, and lease advisory assignments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Mayo worked at DH Capital, a division of Citizens focused on global M&A advisory within the data center and digital infrastructure sectors. Prior to DH Capital, he worked at a private equity-backed North American data center platform, where he focused on capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate strategy.
Mr. Mayo has extensive experience advising on equity capital formation, debt financings, powered land transactions, strategic advisory, and M&A execution across the global data center landscape. Across his roles at Newmark and DH Capital, Mr. Mayo advised on more than $85 billion of transactions across the data center and digital infrastructure sectors.
About Nicholas Beatty
Nicholas Beatty joins DigitalBridge as Operating Partner, Energy Transition. Mr. Beatty will advise the firm on electrification, energy transition strategy and related infrastructure opportunities, including renewable energy, battery storage and transport-linked initiatives across the infrastructure ecosystem. He brings extensive experience in the development, management, financing, and growth of renewable energy businesses.
Mr. Beatty retired in October 2024 as a Founder Director of Zenobē Energy, a leading EV fleet and grid-scale battery storage company.
During his time at Zenobē from 2017 to 2024, Mr. Beatty led financing activities, raising more than £1 billion in equity and over £1 billion in debt as well as leading the Australasian operations. His achievements included securing the first non-recourse debt facility for a battery developer from a UK high street bank and the first private placement of 16-year debt to support electric fleet financing.
Prior to Zenobē, Mr. Beatty spent 28 years in corporate finance, advising businesses and financial investors on debt and equity capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and public listings, including roles at Hambros Bank and establishing and leading BNP Paribas’s Corporate Finance business in London. Following his banking career, he developed and financed two solar companies in the UK that integrated the first LiFP batteries on the UK grid for balancing and power services.
