Finding Inspiration

PART 1

Bathroom Buyer

Sebastian, a millennial in his early 30s, recently purchased his first home in Hamburg. Like many first-time buyers in Germany, Sebastian wanted the property to reflect his personality and taste in design.

This vision led him to a long-winded renovation project, which included a brand new bathroom to replace an old tired bathroom suite.

With a €7,000 budget set aside and a vision of a clean bright modern bathroom in mind, he set out on his journey of discovery.

PART 2

In need of inspiration

Like most millennial's, Sebastian started his journey by looking for bathroom ideas online. Google Image Search was the first place he looked, but the search results failed to excite him. Unsatisfied and still in need of inspiration, Sebastian turned his attention to Pinterest, where he browsed away casually, looking at Bathroom Ideas from one pinboard to another.

After viewing a number of designs, and inspired by what he had seen, Sebastian turned his attention to DIY retailer websites. Several unsuccessful attempts later, Sebastian finally arrived on the Hagebaumarkt website.

“Oh wow! These bathroom suites look lovely, I’ll take a look at them in more detail” said Sebastian… and off he went with hope and optimism to browse the various options available to him.

PART 4

Kunden-Zufriedenheit! 👍

A happy Sebastian got what he wanted - a bathroom design that would work for him. It was within budget, met all his design requirements, and was perfect for the size of his bathroom.

Feeling enthusiastic about what Hagebaumarkt had to offer, instead of buying online, which was one of the options, Sebastian opted to book an in-store appointment instead - thinking all along “I wonder what other great products they have in-store”.

So, at the touch of a button, and without any hesitation, he booked his appointment with a Bathroom specialist at the one of the five Hamburg-based Hagebaumarkt stores and printed out his project pack. Sebastian was happy, and couldn’t wait to finalise his purchase.

experience

PART 5

Bringing the project to store

Arriving at his local Hagebaumarkt store with a smile on his face, Sebastian felt confident this would be the day he could tick off the bathroom from his home renovation to-do-list.

After finding the Bathroom department, he sat down with Stefanie, a Hagebaumarkt Bathroom Design Consultant.

Explaining to Stefanie that he’d designed the bathroom online, Sebastian then presented the PIN code to retrieve the project. “I was hoping we could take a look at the project, just to make sure everything is okay before I make my final purchase,” said Sebastian.

PART 6

Making the purchase

So, Stefanie and Sebastian went through the project to review his options. A few changes later, and after adding a couple of new bathroom plants, some new tiles, and some new bathroom accessories to his order, Sebastian was ready to purchase.

He paid for his bathroom project, arranged a convenient time and date for delivery, and collected the detailed floor plan, side elevations, and all the dimensions of where the products should be positioned in the design (to share with the bathroom installer).

After picking up the smaller items and a fresh tin of paint in-store, he left the with a bounce in his step.

Installation

PART 7

A knock at the door

After receiving his Hagebaumarkt bathroom delivery, the week had arrived when Sebastian would finally see the bright modern bathroom he’d always wanted.

The installers he had booked arrived, he offered them a Coffee and some Butterbrezel, and once they had finished, off they went to work on bringing the design to life. Leaving them to it, Sebastian was full of anticipation and couldn’t wait to see the end result.

A couple of days later, one sunny afternoon, a voice came from upstairs. “Hallo Sebastian. We’re done. You can come and take a look at your new bathroom”.

PART 8

A finished project

In full awe of his brand new Bathroom, Sebastian burst out; “Wow, Beeindruckend! That looks amazing. I can’t believe how beautiful it looks. This bathroom buying journey with Hagebaumarkt has been so easy and pleasurable. I can’t thank you enough”

A couple of snaps later, a happy Sebastian had posted his new bathroom on social media, where all his friends and family could see.

“Where did you buy the bathroom son?” commented Tante Petra. “I got it from Hagebaumarkt,” said Sebastian…

journey began
