Unbound festivals are renowned for bringing together the people at the centre of innovation, and Unbound London was no different. From robotic vertical farms, 3D digital models created from scans, the next generation of solar lights and so much more. Unbound was awe inspiring in terms of what will be mainstream concepts in the near future.
We were thrilled to have some exciting moments on the DigitalBridge stand too. Our animated product video on a big screen stopped lots of passing traffic, and after a quick demo of Plan My Bathroom on mobile people really understood the problem we’re solving. Many even said they were headed home to design and buy their dream bathroom!
As with all conferences we’re headed to at the moment (see our experience of Hypergrowth 2019), Unbound was trendy and exciting. The quality of attendees, speakers and exhibitors was top notch too. Below our team Kate, Lee and Antonia share their best bits:
Kate: Sad not to see a beat boxer at 9am (only at Hypergrowth!) but then thrilled to see her first ever conference-based Mariachi band, our Strategic Account Manager Kate’s day was made by a brilliant session on turning customers into fans - pic below. Blink talked about how they’re working with Barclays to provide the best customer experience, and eliminate friction.
Lee: Our Senior Product Expert Lee particularly enjoyed the Immersive Tech talk on Day 1, especially comments from Google on the future of VR technology. As retailers seek to create new immersive in-store experiences, including using VR, it’s really important we find and solve real user problems to make the best use of this exciting tech.
Antonia: Our Head of Marketing, Antonia, enjoyed engaging with the brilliant people Unbound had gathered and getting insights into different types of cutting edge tech to spark her creative mind. Watch out for some exciting marketing tests coming soon from DigitalBridge!
As you can see we’ve had a brilliant time at Unbound London. If you’re looking for a conference that’ll blow your mind in terms of what’s possible and what will become part of our everyday lives in the near future, this is the one for you.
Right, what’s next?
